A brief history of the piano.

The piano. One of the first instruments we start playing as a child. Whether we stay at ‘Chopsticks’ level or become concert pianists; the piano is an instrument that resonates in every musical person’s heart

Each year, on the 88th day, we celebrate world piano day because, why not? So far, we have been serenaded by numerous office pianists (apparently, we’re a bit of a talented bunch!) and have settled into our work with piano-focused playlists to help us ‘focus’.
Why does the world need a Piano Day? For many reasons. But mostly, because it doesn’t hurt to celebrate the piano and everything around it: performers, composers, piano builders, tuners, movers and most important, the listener.”
